Guess what!! Today is my birthday, and getting older is kinda fun when you are doing what you love. This blog is my little happy place, so the fact that you choose to visit me on here is truly a blessing. I am super excited to share with you guys my neutral Christmas entryway and dining room tour. I shared with you my Christmas mantel a couple of weeks ago and told you how I am doing a neutral Christmas vibe this year with lots of greens mixed with wood tones and touches of gold. I’m kinda loving the direction it is going in, and I can’t wait to share with you these two spaces!
Today is a super fun day because I get to share with you guys my daughter’s bedroom makeover reveal. This little girl bedroom makeover is one of my favorites for so many reasons, but mainly because it was a chance for us to plan, shop, and have so much fun together transforming this room. My daughter has been asking me for a room refresh for a few months now, and I totally agreed that it was time for her to have a “big girl” room. We were SO READY to start planning out what we wanted to do in here. I made her give me a list of a few items that she wanted, but I decided it would be so fun to leave the final room reveal a surprise. A few things that was on her list was new bedding, some pretty wallpaper, and a fun reading spot. So, let me show you how we completely transformed this room with 3 key pieces and a few simple accessories.

Hello friends and welcome to my Christmas kitchen tour! I’m so excited to show you guys how JOANN inspired me to change things up this year and do a more neutral color scheme. If you remember my kitchen last year, I did lots of red and absolutely loved it, but I knew I wanted to do something different. After all, change is good!! Honestly, I didn’t know what I wanted to do in here other than I wanted a neutral color scheme. I’m so visual and really get my inspiration from seeing things in person. I decided to take a trip to JOANN and see if they had anything that spoke to me. If you follow me on Instagram, you saw my trip to JOANN in my stories. I never know what I’m looking for until I see it. So, when I got there, I quickly got my inspiration after I spotted so many pieces that I knew would look so good in my kitchen.

Every year, when we are putting up the tree, we watch our all time favorite Christmas movie. Any guesses which one I am referring to? That’s right, we love The Grinch in our house. That’s why, when Kirkland’s asked me to team up with them and help promote their new collection of Grinch home decor I said, “YES PLEASE!” I am so excited that Kirkland’s is bringing your favorite Christmas movie into your home with their Grinch items, celebrating the wacky and whimsical world of Dr. Seuss’ holiday classic.

Happy November friends!! I am starting off November with a post that I am so excited to share with you. I’m calling it my master bedroom reveal but really you have technically seen a little bit of my bedroom when I wrote all about my shiplap bed. I thought it would be fun to start from the beginning and show you where I started and then show you how I got here. I think before pictures are so important because they give you an idea of how much potential a space can have. So, before we get started with how my room looks now, I think you should see what our room looked like when we moved in 5 years ago.
How is Halloween only four days away?! This month has seriously flown by. I am super busy over here getting the kid’s costumes together and getting my house all ready for Halloween. I love Halloween decor for so many reasons but mainly because it doesn’t have to be perfect. All it really needs to be is FUN. That’s why I am so excited to be teaming up with seven bloggers to share how we spook-ti-fied our homes using products from JOANN for Halloween and let me tell you, they really nailed the Halloween creepy vibe. I had so much fun going through their blogs, and I know you will too!

Happy Thursday friends! Notice anything different? That’s right. I got a new coffee table!!! If you remember, I had a fun antique coffee table that I loved so much, but after I did a refresh in this room this past summer, I knew I needed a change. I was looking for something white and large, but other than that, I did not really know what I wanted. I was just ready for something new and fresh in here.

EEEEEKKKK! I can’t believe it’s almost my favorite day of the year! That’s right guys, my favorite day of the year is HALLOWEEN! I just love this holiday for so many reasons, but mainly because of all the FUN that happens with friends and family around here. We always have everyone over for soup and sweets and then head out for some trick-or-treating. This year, I wanted my house to have a fun and spooky area with snacks and candy for all the kids and adults to gather around by the front door, so I teamed up with JOANN to help bring my spooky entryway vision to life.
